Public Comments For CONDITIONAL TAKE OF WESTERN JOSHUA TREE DURING CANDIDACY PERIOD.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, the Town of Yucca Valley, Palmdale, SBD is requesting TAKE (KILL) Coverage during this one year period of the study of the Western Joshua Tree. We hope you will help add further protection and voicing opposition providing any information that shows the ineptitude of these jurisdictions to care be in compliance. If you are just reading this for the first time please read these prior blogs entries on our groups work aiding the Center For Biological Diversity petition to protect the Western Joshua Tree,Yucca brevifolia. I was a guest on the HERBRALLY podcast where I pretty much summed up these blogs PODCAST HERE.

IF you have been following along and are familar with the fight to protect these threatened species and have any substantial information to provide the California Department of Fish & Game please consider submitting a comment. These jurisdictions are requesting to be given TAKE COVERAGE yet towns like Yucca Valley have proven to not be in compliance to their own regulated native plants code. Politicians have politicized the plant, inciting hate for it by spreading disinformation on the species. They presented it that it would be a financial burden to homeowners and that it would prevent low income housing. Being a resident in the Morongo Basin I can attest that the only thing these politicians are worried about is single family homes, expanding for the urban crawl and AIRBNB. For example Board of Supervisors, CLIMATE DENIER, Robert Lovingood wrote a "note" about Joshua Trees recently where he called enviromentalist "CUCKOOS". Then there is the town of YUCCA VALLEY council who have YET to pursue charges against two well known developers in the high desert after our group exposed and confronted them for the unpermitted TAKES (KILLING) of the Western Joshua Trees. Below is the CAUGHT IN ACTION, PISSED OFF Developer, David Webb of D.Webb incorporated after I confronted him. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

Please be patient with the meeting, it may be a long day of waiting for our agenda to pop up, but we need you to help and VOICE against allowing anymore killing of Joshua Trees.

Please keep in mind comments are not taken on asking for CESA listing as it was granted back in September. Also depending on the amount of public comments, we may be given anywhere from 3 to 1 minutes to speak.
