How can we benefit from demulcent herbs? What are they and how are they used? This hands-on workshop will delve into mucilaginous plants as we work with Nopales, Prickly Pear cactus, exploring uses, and indications that include incorporating this arid dweller for food, herbal medicine, first-aid, skin, and hair care.
Folks will learn how to process (remove spines and glochid), make a cold infusion, decoction, and cook with Nopales.
Participants Must Bring
1 32 oz (quart) clean mason/ball jar with matching lid
32 ounces filtered water. You can use filtered water from home and transport it in a mason jar
