About the event

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE EVENT INFO PAGE AS IT WILL LIST MEETING LOCATION, TIME & MORE.

Explore the native flora of the joshua tree woodland, and the pinyon - juniper woodland in desert mountains. In each ecosystem we will learn plant associations and how they relate to factors such as symbiotic relationships, soil, elevation, and the desert fauna. We will meet native, medicinal, and wild food flora on this hike where we will learn traditional and modern medicinal uses of the plants. The location listed on the event says it is in the city of San Bernadino, it is in fact in between Big Bear and Lucerne and not San Bernadino, the location address is listed as this and I could not edit it.

We will be hiking in the San Bernadino National Forest Cactus Flats area just off of Highway 18, north of Big Bear and south…
