PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT and Join is in the Whitewater Canyon Clean Up & Potluck. (Vegan & vegetarian dishes please, so that everyone can partake in the potluck) The clean up will run down alongside the river heading towards Palm Springs off the 10FWY exit WHITEWATER EXIT TURN RIGHT ON WHITEWATER CUTOFF here you will see cars parked we meet at 8 and cleanup will start shortly after. If you arrive later PARK THERE then walk down towards WHITEWATER ROCK & SUPPLY
This is the 3rd year that a group of Eco-Warriors will gather in Whitewater for a clean-up of Whitewater. This is a clean-up of the popular area that folks visit during spring and summer. This is not located in the Whitewater Preserve. Bring the family out. This is a family event, there will be NO swimming in this section of Whitewater. (Read below for potluck info)
THINGS TO BRING.
•CARPOOL PLEASE.
•Water canteen or water bottle
•sunscreen/hat/appropriate clothing
•fork & a plate
•something to contribute to potluck
•work gloves
•trash tongs/trash picker if you have one
There is a lot of trash stuffed in the bushes so a trash tong would be useful so we are not reaching in. Remember rattlers take shade in the shrubs. If you have one great if not don't worry.
