ELDERBERRY DESERT SYRUP MAKING WORKSHOP

This is Workshop ONE of TWO that I will be hosting on this day. Second workshop will be a DESERT FIRE CIDER same day later time.

Season of sniffling noses, congestion, coughs, allergies colds and flu are ahead of us. I’ll be sharing herbal remedies with folks and helping getting herbal medicine cabinets stocked.

This class will feature Elderberry Sambucus spp and other native flora that I’ve wildcrafted. Elderberry has been used in many cold and flu remedies, it’s anti-viral properties makes it the go to at the very first sign of illness or just after a known exposure to someone who is sick. Added to this formula will be lung strengthen plants and plants to help with seasonal allergies.

All class participates must bring;

•8 oz jar

•8 oz honey or agave syrup

•organic turmeric

•organic ginger

•2oz brandy (optional)

•pen/paper/clear tape

•cup/mug for tea meditation
