Discover the California Native Plants on your property with the Desert Native Plant Survey for the Mojave and Colorado Desert regions. This is an opportunity for residents to learn about the Indigenous People of the Native Lands that we occupy, exploring the flora and for those intrested in introducing drought tolerant native plants into your landscape. Learn about the importance in cultivating native flora that will support the ecosystem from the local pollinators to providing shelter for fauna. Christina offers a Medicinal and Edible Plants Workshop where residents will learn about the traditional and modern uses in both food, medicine and the flora traditionally used by the Cahuilla, Serano, Chemehuevi and Mohave People. Desert Native Plant Survey is limited to one acre, the duration of time is from 2 to 3 hours. Price varies from $250 to $300 with a travel fee varying from $15 to $30.
